As the Head of Data Science at Scouts Consulting Group, I spend my work days improving the performance of athletes and teams by analyzing the data collected on them. I also dabble in entrepreneurship and content creation. I'm probably best known for my YouTube channel where I (hopefully) help over 100,000 people navigate the data science landscape.

More recently, I am focused on project-based learning. I hope to share the processes that data scientists take when approaching Kaggle competitions and new datasets. I started the #66DaysOfData challenge to help people create the habit of learning and working on projects every day. I also launched my podcast, Ken's Nearest Neighbors to give learners real-life case studies of success in the field.

 

In my free time, I enjoy golf, fly fishing, yoga, and cooking.
